Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between August Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, August Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary Webb!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Webb drives through and clinches with Guerrero against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Webb.


It looks like August Guerrero has been cut.
Guerrero is working for takedown but Webb is calmly controlling the position for now.
Guerrero goes for a takedown in the clinch but Webb prevents it.
Webb controlling the action here for a moment.

Webb ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Webb no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Guerrero being controlled here momentarily.
Guerrero postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Guerrero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Guerrero is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Webb is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Webb has escaped and now he's on top!

Guerrero can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Webb controls the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Guerrero is looking to improve his position.

Webb passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Guerrero!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guerrero is trying to reverse the position but instead Webb has taken his back - oops!
Webb is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
It looks like Webb might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Guerrero rolls, trying to escape but Webb keeps control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Guerrero is really stuck here.

Guerrero is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Webb has his foot on Guerrero's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guerrero works his way back into a safe position though.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Gary Webb showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Webb tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guerrero swivels and escapes.

Guerrero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Webb tries to avoid it but Guerrero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Webb to the ground. Webb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Webb shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerrero as he avoids it easily.

Guerrero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Webb was covering up waiting for the punch and Guerrero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Guerrero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Webb is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Webb jumps guard.

Guerrero drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Webb dives on top into guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Guerrero not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Webb passes Guerrero's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Webb is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Webb stands up and beckons Guerrero to join him on the feet.
Webb shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Guerrero but Guerrero pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Gary Webb is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Webb is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
