Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hermansson comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Ich Will!. Ross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Neck of the Woods kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hermansson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hermansson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hermansson throws a strike but Ross rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ross lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ross content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hermansson has locked up a guillotine! Hermansson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ross is holding on here and Hermansson must be using up a lot of energy. Ross has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hermansson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A less than humble Jan Olov Hermansson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
