Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nich DiMag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonald's choice of entrance music: Get Low. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiMag takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and McDonald counters with a nice uppercut.

DiMag throws a right hand that McDonald ducks under and follows up with a left that McDonald also avoids with ease.
DiMag connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Nich DiMag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DiMag moves forwards but McDonald connects with a nice, crisp jab.

McDonald ducks down and throws a hook to the body but DiMag moves away.
DiMag throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It seemed like McDonald was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

McDonald slips a jab and a cross from DiMag.

McDonald lunges at DiMag with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by DiMag's hand.

DiMag is rocked!
McDonald circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops DiMag to the canvas! DiMag doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - McDonald keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
