Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michale Massey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beeboy Batongbakal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Massey or perhaps it was just good defense by Batongbakal, which made it look bad.
Batongbakal flicks out a counter leg kick but Massey steps away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Massey is defended easily by Batongbakal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batongbakal keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck for Massey with that takedown attempt.

Massey misses with a takedown attempt - Batongbakal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Massey shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Batongbakal as he avoids it easily.
Batongbakal drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Massey defends it well.

Massey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Batongbakal was covering up waiting for the punch and Massey finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Massey really is a fat lump.
Massey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Massey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Batongbakal looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Massey trying to control the position from guard on top but Batongbakal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Batongbakal utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Massey shoots in for a double leg but Batongbakal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Batongbakal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Massey's guard.

Massey is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Batongbakal defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Batongbakal controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Batongbakal tries to free his leg and advance position but Massey is retaining full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Batongbakal uses his free foot to push down on Massey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Massey.

Batongbakal throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Batongbakal! Massey is hurt baaadly! Batongbakal is firing away with more strikes - Massey is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
