The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Opdauhl blocks a head kick by DiM.
DiM swings widly with a right hand
and Opdauhl counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Opdauhl scores with a hook.
Opdauhl chopping away at his opponent's legs.
DiM throws an off balance right hand
and Opdauhl connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
DiM on the wrong end of a nice hook.
DiM tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Opdauhl let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
DiM fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Opdauhl is out of range.
DiM shoots in but Opdauhl avoids the takedown attempt easily.
DiM misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been told by DiM's head coaches at Ultimate MMA Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Opdauhl cracks DiM with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

and Opdauhl counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Oh DiM is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Opdauhl circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops DiM to the canvas! DiM doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Opdauhl keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
