Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Punka Tuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk has chosen White Rabbit as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Punka Tuka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Hawk!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuka closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Tuka pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hawk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tuka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hawk sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tuka closes the distance and clinches up with Hawk, looking for a takedown. Tuka pushes Hawk against the cage but Hawk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A little jabbing left from Hawk on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Punka Tuka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tuka looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hawk is fending him off so far but Tuka persists. Nope, Hawk circles away and we're back to standing.

Tuka drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hawk pulls his leg out and moves away.

It seemed like Hawk was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Tuka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tuka misses with a takedown attempt - Hawk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tuka lands a nice knee to the body.
Hawk goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tuka prevents it.
Tuka goes for a takedown attempt but Hawk pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tuka shoots in but no luck this time.
