Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wakoko Wakeke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabiano Werdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wakoko Wakeke has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wakoko Wakeke seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wakoko Wakeke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Fabiano Werdum!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakeke does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Werdum appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Wakeke gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Wakeke misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wakeke throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Werdum blocks it with crossed arms.
Werdum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wakeke pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Werdum successfully pulls guard.
Wakeke has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Werdum to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Wakeke is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Werdum pulls down on the head and he's put Wakeke to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fabiano Werdum!
Fabiano Werdum gave a mention to MMA nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
