The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalksi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Downs.
Downs shoots in looking for a takedown but Kowalksi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Downs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oooooh!!! Kowalksi has knocked Downs down with a huge combo! Kowalksi steps away and waves a wobbly Downs back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rich Downs has been cut.
Kowalksi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Downs is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kowalksi.
Kowalksi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Downs checks it well.
Kowalksi connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Downs! He's out on his feet! Kowalksi rushes in and drops Downs with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
