The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanic throws a body shot but no joy.
Diggs half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Stanic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Diggs throws out the jab.
Stanic blocks a jab.
Stanic drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Diggs defends it well.
Stanic misses with a double jab.
Diggs changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Diggs stuffs the takedown.
Stanic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diggs as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stanic is defended easily by Diggs.
Orlando Diggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miroslav Stanic.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stanic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Stanic wants the takedown. Diggs is fighting it off but Stanic persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Diggs's guard against the cage.

Diggs has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stanic doesn't defend quickly enough and Diggs has managed to lock this one up! Can Stanic escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Diggs on a fantastic submission victory.
