Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Freitas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikhail Golovkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Freitas looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freitas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Freitas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Golovkin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Freitas's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Golovkin works his way to full guard. Good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Golovkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Freitas defends it easily.
Freitas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Golovkin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Golovkin drops back looking for a leg! Freitas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Freitas manages to kick Golovkin off! Golovkin jumps back into Freitas's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
