Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Sloane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rich tries for a takedown but Sloane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rich throws a right and a left that Sloane avoids nicely.
Rich misses with a takedown attempt - Sloane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A good leg kick by Sloane.
Rich shoots in but Sloane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rory Sloane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Rich.
Sloane leaves Rich with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rich stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sloane.
Rich moves out of range of the leg kick from Sloane.
Johnny Rich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rich fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rich fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rich tries to clinch up but Sloane circles away and keeps his distance.
Sloane just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloane does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice sprawl there from Sloane as Rich shoots in.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rich changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sloane tries to avoid it but Rich manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sloane to the ground. Sloane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sloane as he jumps to the side.
Rich looks winded!

Sloane lands a big head kick that sends Rich tumbling to the mat! Sloane takes a step backwards and waves Rich back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rich is rocked!

It looks like Johnny Rich has been cut.
Rich doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sloane makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Rich is still on wobbly legs! Can Sloane finish him?
Sloane lands a nice hook to Rich's body. Rich takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sloane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rich's sensitive parts.
Rich seems to have recovered his senses.
Sloane buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sloane.
Sloane scores with a push kick.
Rich looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rich circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Sloane. Rich falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Sloane!
