Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baadur Jobava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baadur Jobava is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Owens throws a head kick that misses.
Despite the aggression on Jobava's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jobava scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Owens doesn't seem bothered though.

Jobava feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
