Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Devin Jaqquard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaqquard's entrance music is Rebirthing-Skillet. A fine choice. Derrick Jon acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jon tries to move into range but Jaqquard moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Jaqquard is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Jaqquard looks to land a combination. Jon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Jaqquard shoots in looking for a takedown. Jon tries to sprawl out of it but Jaqquard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Jon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jon tries to counter with a clinch but Jaqquard shakes him off and moves away.

Jon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We've been hearing good reports from Jaqquard's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Devin Jaqquard opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
