Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zero changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zero trying to control the position but Jones is working away.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Zero's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Zero is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zero defends it easily.
Zero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zero wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zero is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.
Jones looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Zero is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Zero throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zero is in Jones's guard.

Zero drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Zero off! Zero jumps back into Jones's guard.

Jones has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zero doesn't defend quickly enough and Jones has managed to lock this one up! Can Zero escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jones on a fantastic submission victory.
