The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski moves away from the strike by Shields.
Shields throws out a loose jab but Arlovski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shields lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Arlovski backs up against the cage.

It looks like Andrey Arlovski has been cut.
Arlovski wants to land a leg kick but Shields is out of range.
Shields takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Shields misses the body punch
and Arlovski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shields misses with an uppercut.
Shields on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Jutise Shields has been cut.

Arlovski cracks Shields with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Arlovski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Shields to stand back up!

Shields is rocked!

Shields slips under a jab from Arlovski.
Shields is still on wobbly legs! Can Arlovski finish him?
Shields throws a hook to the side of Arlovski's head but Arlovski sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Shields seems to have recovered his senses.
Shields keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Arlovski cracks Shields with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shields looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Arlovski finish him?
Arlovski cracks Shields with a hook to the temple - Shields is on wobbly legs here! Arlovski swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Shields falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Arlovski wins by TKO!
