Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rouhares gets a clinch.
Maniac throws a punch but it's blocked by Rouhares.
Maniac prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rouhares is trying to drag Maniac to the mat but Maniac just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rouhares is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Maniac is defending well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Palsimar Rouhares. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rouhares goes for a takedown in the clinch but Maniac prevents it.
Maniac working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Maniac lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Rouhares.
A short body shot lands from Maniac as the two fighters clinch.
Rouhares has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maniac is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Maniac should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Maniac tries to work over Rouhares's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rouhares has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Maniac is trying to keep an underhook but Rouhares manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Rouhares with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Rouhares is looking for a kimura here.
Rouhares looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rouhares passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Maniac!
Rouhares is trying to take his opponent's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rouhares looking to secure an arm triangle but Maniac defends it well.
Rouhares working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Maniac turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Rouhares off and cradles Maniac's limp body as Rouhares celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Palsimar Rouhares!
