Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Virtanen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Maamme Laulu. Askren has chosen wave after wave mr probs as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Askren dips to his left and cracks Virtanen with an uppercut!
Askren swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Virtanen attempts a counter takedown but Askren avoids it well and moves away.
Askren loads up on a big right hand but Virtanen slips the punch.
Virtanen appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Virtanen circles away from the clinch attempt.

Askren smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Askren throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Virtanen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Virtanen.
A little jabbing left from Askren on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
We've been informed that Askren has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
