Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bo Snowflake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bo Snowflake had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bo Snowflake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Kawajiri!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snowflake drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kawajiri looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Snowflake thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Snowflake trying to control but Kawajiri is working from the bottom.

Snowflake is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Snowflake throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snowflake missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Snowflake wants to control from the top but Kawajiri keeps moving.

Snowflake drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Snowflake jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Snowflake shoots in looking for a takedown. Kawajiri tries to sprawl out of it but Snowflake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kawajiri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Snowflake fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Snowflake shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bo Snowflake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snowflake shoots in for a takedown but Kawajiri shows good takedown defense.

Kawajiri scores a takedown into full mount!
Snowflake regains half guard.

Kawajiri wants to pass to mount but Snowflake is defending the position.
Kawajiri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snowflake. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Snowflake gets back to full guard.
Kawajiri postures up.

Snowflake has his foot on Kawajiri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kawajiri works his way back into a safe position though.

Snowflake looking for a guillotine here but Kawajiri defends easily.

Snowflake looking for a triangle here. Kawajiri is fighting it but it looks tight! Snowflake pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kawajiri is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Bo Snowflake!
