Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eik Hoisen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoisen gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.
Silva creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hoisen's defenses.
It looks like Eik Hoisen has been cut.
Silva misses with an elbow strike.
Silva pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Hoisen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Silva takes a knee to the side of the body.
Hoisen blocks an elbow strike.
Silva gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Hoisen with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Silva blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Silva tries to throw a body punch but Hoisen avoids it by throwing Silva back against the cage.
Hoisen dodges an elbow strike from Silva.
A knee to the head by Hoisen.
Hoisen is looking to control Silva's arms but Silva gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hoisen has his back to the cage.
Hoisen misses with an elbow over the top.

Hoisen looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.
Hoisen is pushing Silva up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Silva goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Silva throws an elbow but it misses.
Hoisen landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eik Hoisen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hoisen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Silva tries to work over Hoisen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Hoisen trying to control the position but instead, Silva has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hoisen into the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hoisen looking to throw knees to the head but Silva is blocking nicely.
Hoisen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Silva pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hoisen missing with knees to the body.
Hoisen jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hoisen takes an elbow to the forehead.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Eik Hoisen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
