The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Green throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lee scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A little jabbing left from Green on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Green lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Liam Lee has been cut.
Lee throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Green feints and then cracks Lee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lee down.
Lee wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Green circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lee is trying to maintain a safe position but Green gets an underhook and turns Lee into the cage.

Lee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Green is out of range and Lee settles back down.
Green unleashes a big counter combination but Lee bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Liam Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Green paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Green.
Green throws a front kick aimed at Lee's knee but Lee avoids it well.
Lee takes a swing at Green's ribcage but misses.
Green lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Lee backs up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Green counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Green paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Lee throws a head kick that half lands.
Green turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Lee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Green pounces like a tiger and cracks Lee with a vicious hook! Lee is down but not out! Green follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
