Rosenkilde is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Danzig - 'Mother'. Salim Al Muri is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Muri throws an overhand right that lands on Rosenkilde's shoulder, as Rosenkilde tries to avoid the shot.
Rosenkilde swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rosenkilde throws out a leg kick but Al Muri moves out of range and Rosenkilde only half commits.
Al Muri throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Al Muri throws a hook but Rosenkilde avoids it easily.
Al Muri tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rosenkilde paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rosenkilde has closed the distance and engaged Al Muri in a clinch.
Al Muri scores with a shoulder strike.
Rosenkilde lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Al Muri blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Al Muri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Al Muri fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Al Muri stalks Rosenkilde and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rosenkilde's face. Rosenkilde staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Mads Rosenkilde has been cut.
We've been informed that Rosenkilde has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Nice defenses there by Rosenkilde.
Al Muri moves in looking to clinch but Rosenkilde pushes him off.
