The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Ruben Gilbert has been cut.
Jacobson catches Gilbert with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gilbert closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jacobson circles away.
Gilbert closes the distance and clinches up with Jacobson, looking for a takedown. Gilbert pushes Jacobson against the cage but Jacobson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jacobson drops Gilbert with a naaaaasty hook - Gilbert is in real trouble here! Jacobson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A less than humble Gil Jacobson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
