Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenalemodisa Mabogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Eikmeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabogo comes to the cage accompanied by 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mabogo wants to get back to his feet but Eikmeyer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Eikmeyer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mabogo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Eikmeyer is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mabogo's half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Eikmeyer working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mabogo pushes Eikmeyer off looking to stand but Eikmeyer dives back in and keeps control.
Mabogo is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Russian Fighting Community Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Eikmeyer wants to control the pace but Mabogo is squirming around nicely.
You get the feeling that Mabogo really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Eikmeyer lands a couple of good shots and Mabogo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Eikmeyer looking to break Mabogo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Mabogo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Eikmeyer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's time! Mabogo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mabogo manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Eikmeyer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mabogo fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Eikmeyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mabogo but Mabogo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kenalemodisa Mabogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Eikmeyer.
