Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lavezzi Cavani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cavani. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cavani pulls Jenkins in close to his closed guard and prevents Jenkins from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cavani has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jenkins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cavani.
