Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Husky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hart has chosen Amish Paradise as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Konrad Husky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elijah Hart!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Husky shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Husky looks to throw a body kick
and Hart counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Husky just misses with a punch to the body.
Husky scores with a jab. Hart acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hart checks the leg kick nicely there.
Husky backing away here, and Hart unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Hart moves out of range as Husky strikes.
Hart flicks out a counter leg kick but Husky steps away.
Husky throws a half hearted mid kick.

Husky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hart looking for a guillotine here but Husky defends easily.

Hart looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hart has his foot on Husky's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Husky works his way back into a safe position though.

Husky sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hart's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hart is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Husky pulls his head out easily.
Hart is looking for a sweep. Husky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart is staying active underneath Husky, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've been hearing that Husky has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That was a close round but I would say that Konrad Husky will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Horrible takedown attempt by Hart or perhaps it was just good defense by Husky, which made it look bad.
Hart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Husky.
Husky lands a nice hook to Hart's body. Hart takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Husky throws an off balance right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Husky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hart throws out the jab.
Hart blocks the body kick.
Hart looks to score with a jab to the body but Husky is just out of range.
As Hart tries to get set, Husky tries to push him back and clinch up but Hart manages to avoid the attempt.
Hart throws a hook but Husky blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Husky takes a swing at Hart's ribcage but misses.
Hart lands with a thumping leg kick.
Husky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Husky.
Husky works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Husky thows a huge punch but Hart dodges it nicely.

Husky motions for Hart to come forward. Husky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hart looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hart avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Husky shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hart controls Husky momentarily but Husky frees himself.

Hart has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Husky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hart.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hart tries to get to full guard but Husky has control of the leg.

Husky is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hart sees it coming and defends easily.
Konrad Husky is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Husky rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hart counters with a nice low kick that buckles Husky's knee momentarily.
Hart takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Husky tries to clinch up.

Husky moves into range and clinches up with Hart.
Hart throws an elbow that misses.
Husky tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hart's elbow.
Hart fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Husky blocking some punches.
Hart lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hart jumps guard but Husky stands there with Hart around his waist. Hart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hart misses with a punch to the body.
Hart makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hart can't get the takedown.

Husky avoids a wild elbow strike from Hart.
Hart doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hart misses with a body punch.
Hart looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Hart struggles to land a body shot inside as Husky controls his hands.
Hart can't find room to land a body shot as Husky controls the action.
Hart tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Husky blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Nice body punch from Husky.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Hart just misses with a elbow thrown towards Husky's brow.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Husky gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hart is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Husky trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

And that's the end of the fight!
Konrad Husky showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Husky, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
