Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pollyanne Rothchild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rothchild's entrance music is I Will Survive. A fine choice. Fed Ali is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pollyanne Rothchild!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fed Ali!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ali has Rothchild pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rothchild manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ali wants a takedown.

Rothchild pulls Ali into guard.
Rothchild wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Rothchild lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rothchild tries to free his leg and advance position but Ali is retaining full guard.

Rothchild stands and steps away. Ali gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rothchild darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Rothchild works his way into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ali wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Ali trying to remain calm as Rothchild controls from the top position.

Rothchild is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ali knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ali dodges the ground and pound from Rothchild.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
An elbow from Rothchild crashes against the mat.
Rothchild throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Rothchild moves into full mount!
Ali is desperately trying to improve his position but Rothchild has a good base and remains in mount.
Rothchild won't let Ali get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Ali felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Rothchild jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ali manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Ali is looking for a sweep.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rothchild controls the position.
Ali is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ali is not content to let Rothchild control the position.
Ali pushes Rothchild away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rothchild gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rothchild. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rothchild decides to take the fight back to the feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ali fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pollyanne Rothchild has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fed Ali.
Rothchild throws a hook but Ali blocks it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Rothchild gets control of Ali's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rothchild will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Ali being controlled here momentarily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rothchild is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pollyanne Rothchild dominated that round.
That's time! Rothchild's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Rothchild throws an off balance right hand

and Ali decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rothchild's guard.
Ali must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Rothchild wants to sweep here but Ali controlling him for the moment.
Rothchild seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Ali stops Rothchild from standing up.

Rothchild has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ali doesn't defend quickly enough and Rothchild has managed to lock this one up! Can Ali escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rothchild on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pollyanne Rothchild!
Post fight, an emotional Pollyanne Rothchild said 'I just want to thank all my fans, I couldn't have done it without you! We're here! We're Queer! Get used to it!'.
