These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michalek throws a leg kick that misses.
Geissen feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Geissen has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Michalek.
Geissen cracks a nice hook into Michalek's ribs.
A low kick from Michalek is predictable there
enabling Geissen to counter with a crisp jab.
A punch lands to the side of Geissen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Michalek looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Michalek lands a really nice looking cross but Geissen seems unphased.
Michalek scores with a nice strike.
Michalek swings widly with a right hand
and Geissen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Michalek scoring well with a low kick there.
Michalek fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Geissen.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Michalek throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Michalek misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Geissen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Michalek throws a right and a left that both miss.
Geissen looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Geissen lands a big right hand that sends Michalek crashing to the mat! Geissen stays standing though and waves Michalek back to his feet!

and Geissen counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Michalek out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Geissen is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
