Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kruk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalac is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Survival - Eminem. Alen Zalac told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zalac scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kruk is looking to reverse the position.
Kruk is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Zalac is working Kruk over with some ground and pound from side control.
Zalac is working to tighten his grip on Kruk's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kruk has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Zalac is really squeezing tight and eventually Kruk passes out! Zalac breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Alen Zalac!
A relieved looking Alen Zalac thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
