The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Owen somewhat.

Owen looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Foster has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Owen is working away from the top position though.
Foster might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Owen decides to stand up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen doesn't manage to clinch there - Foster circles away.

Foster shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Owen is trying to hold Foster in close to prevent damage but Foster has managed to pass into half guard.
Owen tries to roll over but Foster keeps him under control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Owen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Foster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Owen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Foster quickly recovers to half guard.

Foster manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Owen keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Foster looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Owen is defending well. Foster quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Owen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Foster celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
