Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Evan Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jean Claude will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Claude fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilkinson, pushing him back against the cage.
Wilkinson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Claude pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Claude gets underhooks to prevent Wilkinson's takedown attempt.

Wilkinson jumps guard.
Wilkinson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Claude trying to control the position from guard on top but Wilkinson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Claude stands up over Wilkinson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Claude loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Claude would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Claude passes Wilkinson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilkinson has hold of Claude's hands but Claude slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Claude is nestled in close to Wilkinson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Claude lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Claude winds up and cracks Wilkinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Claude seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Wilkinson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Claude scores with a couple of nice shots.
Claude is nestled in close to Wilkinson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Claude is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Wilkinson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Claude connects with a nice short shot to Wilkinson's temple.
