Vasilevskiy's entrance music is Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams – Get Lucky!. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bamh throws a shot from downtown. Vasilevskiy moves away and avoids it.
Vasilevskiy ducks under a wild hook from Bamh.
Vasilevskiy swinging wildly here.
Vasilevskiy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bamh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bamh fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bamh checks a leg kick nicely.

Bamh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Let's hope that Bamh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vasilevskiy is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Vasilevskiy tries to bench press Bamh off him but Bamh keeps the position.
Vasilevskiy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bamh wants to control but Vasilevskiy is keeping him busy.

Vasilevskiy tries to buck Bamh off but Bamh is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vasilevskiy regains half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bamh in particular looking to stall.
Bamh lands with a punch from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bamh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bamh is nestled in close to Vasilevskiy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Bamh moves nicely into side control.
Vasilevskiy is looking for a sweep.

Bamh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Vasilevskiy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Vasilevskiy can't do much from the bottom here.
Bamh lands an elbow.
Bamh is looking to take a break and control but Vasilevskiy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bamh has an Americana. Vasilevskiy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bamh is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bamh hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

In his post fight interview, Ngoc Bamh started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
