Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isiah Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quico Matching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isiah Doyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quico Matching!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matching pushes Doyle up against the cage in a clinch.

Matching pulls guard.
Doyle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Matching controls Doyle momentarily but Doyle frees himself.
Matching preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Matching is wriggling around but Doyle manages to pass to half guard.
Doyle prevents Matching from standing back up.
Matching keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matching is looking to improve his position.
Doyle landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Doyle throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Doyle thows a huge punch but Matching dodges it nicely.
Doyle missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Doyle thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Matching's head.
Doyle landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Doyle is working for a kimura but Matching is defending it quite comfortably.
Matching has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Doyle is working away from the top position though.

Doyle is working for a submission of some sort.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Doyle is thwarting Matching's attempts to control the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Doyle thows a huge punch but Matching dodges it nicely.
Matching has hold of Doyle's hands but Doyle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Doyle is trying to work for a kimura but Matching is defending well.
Matching tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Doyle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Matching defending well though.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Matching drives through with a takedown into guard.
Matching tries to stand but Doyle is controlling from the bottom.
Matching trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Matching trying to control the position from guard on top but Doyle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Matching throws a strike but Doyle rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doyle postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Matching escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doyle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Matching preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Matching wants to stand and escape but Doyle is having none of it.
Doyle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Doyle throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Matching pulls Doyle in close to prevent any damage.
Doyle stands up over Matching, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Doyle postures up in Matching's guard and throws a big left but Matching blocks it.
Matching tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matching moves into range and clinches up with Doyle.

Matching lands a takedown into guard.
Matching is looking to stand up but Doyle won't let him.

Doyle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Doyle pushes Matching off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doyle tries to sprawl but Matching drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Matching blocks the strikes from Doyle.

Doyle wants to get back to his feet.

Doyle flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Doyle wants to get back to full guard but Matching has mounted him!
Doyle tries to control the position but Matching now has his back.
Matching is looking to control Doyle but Doyle is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Matching throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Doyle is in a bad position with Matching working for a choke. Doyle manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Doyle works over Matching with some ground and pound from guard.
Matching is trying to control the position but Doyle postures up.
Doyle throws a big right hand that misses.
Matching is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doyle prevents Matching from getting back to his feet.

Matching clinches up with Doyle and pushes him back against the cage.
Doyle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Matching is looking to control Doyle's arms but Doyle gets an underhook and turns him. Now Matching has his back to the cage.

Matching lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Doyle throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Matching tries to stand and escape but Doyle is controlling the position.
Well, if Matching is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Matching is breathing heavily.

Quico Matching showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Matching closes the distance and pushes Doyle back into the cage.

Matching wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Doyle is now in half guard.
Doyle misses with a head shot. Matching uses the momentum to regain guard.
Matching is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Matching will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Matching might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doyle haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Isiah Doyle.
I think Doyle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
