Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Demonyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alvin Demonyo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demonyo connects with a high kick.

Stark drives through and clinches with Demonyo against the cage.

Stark throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Demonyos head.

Stark is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Stark looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Demonyo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Demonyo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Demonyo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Demonyo tries to keep at a distance but Stark has taken the fight into the clinch.

Demonyo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Stark is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stark with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Stark swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Demonyo is now in Stark's guard. A big mistake from Stark there, giving up the dominant position!

Demonyo wants to get up but he can't break Stark's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Stark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Demonyo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stark, into his guard.

Demonyo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stark is proving hard to escape from.

Demonyo is fighting to break Stark's control of his arms but Stark is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Demonyo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stark. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stark is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Stark is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Demonyo is defending well.

Stark is trying to trip Demonyo. He has hold of a leg but Demonyo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stark persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Stark uses his free foot to push down on Demonyo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Demonyo.

Stark is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Demonyo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stark cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
