The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Slammo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Simpson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Simpson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bob Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slammo moves out of range as Simpson strikes.
Simpson throws a shot from downtown. Slammo moves away and avoids it.
Simpson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Simpson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Slammo fails in his attempt to clinch.

and Simpson counters with a beautiful punch that sends Slammo to the canvas!

Simpson loads up on a big left hand. Slammo felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Simpson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Slammo can't hide his disappointment, as Simpson celebrates the victory.
