Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chrollo Lucilfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitaly Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin has chosen Russian National Anthem as his entrance music. Vitaly Karelin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Lucilfer lands an impressive looking overhand right. Karelin doesn't seem phased though.
It looks like Vitaly Karelin has been cut.
Nice shot by Lucilfer.
Lucilfer swings for the body but Karelin moves out of range.
Lucilfer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Karelin moves away from the strike by Lucilfer.
Lucilfer misses with a hook
and Karelin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lucilfer!
Karelin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Lucilfer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Karelin working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Karelin lands a decent elbow from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karelin tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Karelin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lucilfer!
Karelin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Karelin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Karelin unloads with some shots from mount but Lucilfer bucks and avoids them well.
Karelin is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Lucilfer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karelin on the ground.

Karelin lands a nice shot to the head.

Karelin lands a big shot to the head and Lucilfer winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Vitaly Karelin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
