Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enting Butikol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoine Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butikol's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Wallace has chosen Pray by Jay-Z feat. Rob Dougan as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Antoine Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butikol tries to clinch but Wallace moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Butikol, as that shot connected.
Wallace fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Butikol throws a body punch but Wallace moves out of range.

Wallace drives through with a takedown into guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wallace working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

We've been hearing good reports from Butikol's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wallace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Butikol looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Wallace remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well Wallace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
