The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Berisha circles away quickly and effectively.
Berisha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sandov.
Nice defenses there by Berisha.
Berisha fails with a takedown attempt.
Sandov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sandov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Berisha.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sandov wants to stand but Berisha has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sandov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Berisha controls Sandov momentarily but Sandov frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Berisha ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Berisha wants to counter with a clinch but Sandov pushes him away.

Berisha throws a wild hook but Sandov just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Berisha gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Sandov raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

A less than humble Eugene Sandov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
