Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Dickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Silver does it's job there.
Silver tries a head kick but it misses.
Silver looks for the body kick but Dickens saw that one coming.
Dickens flicks out a counter leg kick but Silver steps away.
Dickens tries to clinch but Silver moves out of range.
Dickens blocks a low kick nicely.
Silver misses with a low kick.
Silver throws a series of punches but Dickens moves out of range.
Silver misses with a straight left.
A slow jab from Silver misses its intended target.
Dickens scores with the left hand. Silver knows he should have avoided that one.
Dickens throws a jab but it's blocked by Silver.
A punch combination from Dickens misses.
Dickens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silver was well out of range. Poor timing from Dickens.
Silver misses with a head kick.
Silver throws a hook to the side of Dickens's head but Dickens sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silver looks to throw the jab but Dickens is out of range.
Dickens wants to clinch up but Silver keeps it at a distance.

Silver takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dickens throws out a counter right but Silver avoids it with no problem.
Dickens throws a nice looking combination but Silver bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dickens changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silver tries to avoid it but Dickens manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silver to the ground. Silver escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Crunch! Silver slams his shin into Dickens's torso.
Silver lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silver.
Dickens missing with a left hand there. Silver was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Silver throws a lazy right hand but Dickens sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dickens does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dickens takes one on the button.

Dickens goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Silver fakes the leg kick and cracks Dickens in the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dickens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Silver manages to avoid it.
Nathan Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dickens throws a lazy head kick
and Silver counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Silver takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dickens was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Nice uppercut lands for Dickens. That snapped Silver's head back.

Silver closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Silver will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Nathan Silver will probably get the nod.

Silver lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Dickens crumples to the floor! Silver milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
