Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Caudill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesse James will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Caudill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse James!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a body kick.
James closes this distance looking for a takedown but Caudill circles away.
Caudill throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
James looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Caudill moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Caudill moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Some wild striking there from James.
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caudill has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Caudill.
Caudill tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James misses with a double jab
and Caudill counters with a left and a right that stings James.


James is rocked!

James is still on wobbly legs! Can Caudill finish him?

and Caudill counters by clinching up.
James tries to break the clinch but Caudill is controlling the position.

Caudill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
James seems to have recovered his senses.
James looks to land a combination but Caudill avoids it well.

The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Caudill misses with a few strikes there.
James misses with a double jab

and Caudill holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
James tries to break the clinch but Caudill is controlling the position.

Caudill manages to break the clinch.

Caudill gets a clinch.
Caudill prevents James from breaking the clinch.
James takes a knee right on the jaw!
James wants to break the clinch but can't.

Caudill breaks from the clinch.
Caudill connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed James momentarily.
Caudill misses with a few strikes there.
Caudill showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from James.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caudill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
James looks gassed!
A head kick misses from Caudill.
James is looking to land body kicks.
Caudill throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Caudill drives through and clinches with James against the cage.
Nice body punch from Caudill - that landed with a thud.

Caudill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Caudill takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Caudill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Caudill has taken the fight to the clinch.
Caudill prevents James from breaking the clinch.
James wants to break free but Caudill has control.

Caudill breaks the clinch.
A combination from James does no damage.
James gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Caudill counters by clinching up.
Ray Caudill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse James.

Caudill manages to break the clinch.
James throws a left and a right that both miss
and Caudill counters with a leg kick.
Caudill throws a series of strikes that have James backpedaling.
James misses with a takedown
and Caudill counters with a one-two to the body.

Caudill darts in and clinches James up against the cage.
Caudill prevents James from breaking the clinch.
James wants to break free but Caudill has control.

Caudill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James blocks a head kick by Caudill.
James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Caudill has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Caudill there as he acknowledges the shot.

Oh Caudill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
James lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Caudill can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from James and Caudill drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by James.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesse James!
