The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko avoids the body shot from Badoyan.
Badoyan shoots in looking for a takedown. Emelianenko tries to sprawl out of it but Badoyan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Emelianenko lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Badoyan tries to bum rush Emelianenko with a series of wild strikes but Emelianenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Alexander Emelianenko decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
