Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Alcatraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Madhaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Alcatraz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josh Madhaki!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Alcatraz.
Alcatraz half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Madhaki scores with a nice body kick.
Alcatraz throws a big shot that misses.
A little jabbing left from Madhaki on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Alcatraz throws a poor cross that misses
and Madhaki counters with a nice uppercut.
Alcatraz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Madhaki is fending him off so far but Alcatraz persists. Nope, Madhaki circles away and we're back to standing.
Alcatraz missing with a left hand there. Madhaki was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Alcatraz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Josh Madhaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alcatraz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Alcatraz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Madhaki circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Madhaki counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Alcatraz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Madhaki manages to avoid it.
Alcatraz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Madhaki tries to avoid it but Alcatraz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Madhaki to the ground. Madhaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Madhaki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Alcatraz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alcatraz shoots in and drives through. Madhaki sprawls well.
Madhaki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alcatraz.

Alcatraz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Alcatraz is looking to take a break and control but Madhaki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Madhaki tries to bench press Alcatraz off him but Alcatraz keeps the position.

Alcatraz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Madhaki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Madhaki parries the strikes from Alcatraz easily there. Alcatraz is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Madhaki to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alcatraz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Madhaki sees it coming and defends easily.

Alcatraz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Madhaki won't allow Alcatraz to pass to mount.

Alcatraz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Madhaki keeps working.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Alcatraz not landing any meaningful shots this time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Alcatraz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Madhaki swivels and escapes.
Alcatraz shoots in for a takedown but Madhaki shows good takedown defense.
Madhaki appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Madhaki jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Alcatraz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Madhaki.

A close round but Josh Madhaki will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Alcatraz moves to clinch but Madhaki breaks away
and Madhaki counters with a nice body shot.
Alcatraz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Madhakis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Alcatraz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Alcatraz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Madhaki looks to throw the jab but Alcatraz is out of range.

Madhaki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Alcatraz shoots in looking for a takedown but Madhaki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alcatraz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Madhaki clobbers Alcatraz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Alcatraz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Madhaki as he jumps to the side.

It looks like Randy Alcatraz has been cut.
Alcatraz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Madhaki swivels and escapes.
Alcatraz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Good leg kick by Madhaki there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Alcatraz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Madhaki pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

A bit of stalling here from Madhaki.
Alcatraz blocks an uppercut.
Madhaki doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Madhaki wants to break free but Alcatraz has control.

Alcatraz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alcatraz creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Alcatraz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Alcatraz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Madhaki avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Alcatraz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Madhaki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Madhaki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alcatraz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Josh Madhaki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Madhaki counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Madhaki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alcatraz was well out of range. Poor timing from Madhaki.

Madhaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Alcatraz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Madhaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Alcatraz is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Madhaki scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Madhaki scores with a hook to the body. Alcatraz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A punch lands to the side of Alcatraz 's head but he takes it in his stride.


Alcatraz is rocked!
Alcatraz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Oh Alcatraz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Madhaki tenderised Alcatraz's leg. Alcatraz is trying to keep his angry face on.

Alcatraz takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
A shot to the liver by Madhaki. Beautiful body shot.
Alcatraz bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Madhaki comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Alcatraz falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Alcatraz was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Josh Madhaki!
A very excited looking Josh Madhaki made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
