Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Denver Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cesar Baltik!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Baltik is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Thomas misses with a series of wild punches.
Baltik stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baltik wants it to stay on the feet.
Denver Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baltik misses with a punch on the inside.
Baltik is trying to pull guard but Thomas turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Baltik wants a takedown.

Thomas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Thomas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Baltik trying to control the position from guard on top but Thomas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baltik is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Baltik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thomas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baltik working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Thomas's head.

Thomas has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Baltik doesn't defend quickly enough and Thomas has managed to lock this one up! Can Baltik escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Thomas on a fantastic submission victory.
