Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks stuffs the takedown attempt from Pena. Pena gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brooks or perhaps it was just good defense by Pena, which made it look bad.
Brooks misses with a takedown
and Pena counters with a left and a right that stings Brooks.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brooks.
Pena misses with a takedown
and Brooks counters by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brooks is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Pena is defending well.
Robt Pena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Talon Brooks.
Brooks is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Pena is looking to break free of the clinch but Brooks has double underhooks.
Pena throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Brooks manages to break the clinch.
Brooks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brooks moves into range and clinches up with Pena.
Brooks is trying to pull guard but Pena turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Pena breaks from the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Brooks. Those never looked like landing.
Pena looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brooks is fending him off so far but Pena persists. Nope, Brooks circles away and we're back to standing.
Brooks tries to land a front kick but Pena steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pena went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Brooks cracks the inside of Pena's front leg.
Brooks clinches up against the cage.
Pena is trying to push Brooks away but Brooks has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A nice left hand lands by Brooks.
Brooks breaks from the clinch.
Brooks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pena seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Brooks scores with a head kick. Pena tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Robt Pena has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brooks lands a head kick!
Brooks clinches up against the cage.
Brooks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brooks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pena swings for the body but Brooks moves out of range.
Brooks goes for a double leg but Pena avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pena continues to drive forward.
Brooks looks winded!
Nice takedown defense from Brooks. No joy for Pena on that attempt.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Pena.
Brooks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pena counters with a left and a right that stings Brooks.
Pena tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Brooks swivels and escapes.
Brooks is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Pena closes the distance but Brooks moves to the side
and Brooks counters with a one-two to the body.
Pena is rocked!
Brooks darts in looking for a takedown but Pena gets double underhooks and turns Brooks into the cage.
Oh Pena is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brooks goes for a small jab and connects. Now Brooks goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Pena stumbles back but Brooks runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Pena to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Pena will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Talon Brooks!
