The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eaton dives in for a single leg takedown but Claude sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Claude changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Eaton fails to land the takedown.
Claude throws a big counter head kick but Eaton avoids it with no problem.

Claude is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Eaton's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Claude is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Eaton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Eaton's back!
Eaton is trying to remain composed but Claude is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Eaton tries to escape but Claude has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Eaton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Claude is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Eaton up.

Eaton is trying to get back to his feet but Claude has full control of the position and if anything, Eaton has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Claude is working for a rear naked choke. Eaton is not defending it well and Claude has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Eaton refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Eaton's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
