The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohmsford shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hirata defends it nicely.
Ohmsford takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Cole Ohmsford has been cut.
Ohmsford tries for a takedown but Hirata circles away easily
and Hirata cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ohmsford tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hirata defends well and Ohmsford ends up having to push Hirata into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A little jabbing left from Hirata on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cole Ohmsford. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ohmsford wants to clinch but Hirata slips to the side

and Hirata counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ohmsford! Hirata lets Ohmsford back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Hirata jabs Ohmsford to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Ohmsford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hirata throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ohmsford clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hirata stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
