Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruarc Harris!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harris clinches up against the cage.
Strashko tries to throw a body punch but Harris avoids it by throwing Strashko back against the cage.
Harris tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Harris wants to take the fight to the mat but Strashko manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

I was talking to Strashko's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Harris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Strashko fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Harris throws a right hand that Strashko ducks under and follows up with a left that Strashko also avoids with ease.
Harris tries to bum rush Strashko with a series of wild strikes but Strashko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Strashko is looking to counter the offense by Harris and move into the clinch.

Strashko reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Strashko taps out! Nice BJJ there by Harris!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ruarc Harris!
Post fight, Ruarc Harris stared into the camera and said 'To all the women that we love best, we love em best when there undressed. And when there dead and long forgotten, we will dig em up and screw them rotten.'.
In defeat, Ivan Strashko stepped up to the mic, saying 'I got bribed to lose. Would have won otherwise.'.
