The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burg cracks Octavius with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Burg cracks Octavius with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Octavius's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Burg connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Octavius scrambles back to his feet.
Burg lands a nice hook to Octavius's body. Octavius takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Peter Burg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Burg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Burg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Octavius seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Burg has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Burg's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Burg duly obliges.

Octavius shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burg's guard.

Burg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Octavius. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Octavius is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Octavius passes easily into side control. Nice work.
An elbow from Octavius crashes against the mat.
Octavius remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Octavius is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Octavius wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Burg, who protects the arm well.

Octavius scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Burg to see if he's OK.

Octavius creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Burg sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Burg is trying to get back to his feet.
Octavius swings around for an armbar but Burg sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Octavius's guard.
Octavius working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Octavius is tightening it up a little... Burg has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Burg reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Burg taps out! Nice BJJ there by Octavius!
