The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Gold misses with a series of wild punches.
Gold lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wilson wants to clinch
and Gold counters with a straight right hand.
Gold feints a jab promting Wilson to slip. Gold then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wilson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Gold leaves Wilson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gold lands a body shot.
We've been told by Gold's head coaches at Platinum MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wilson shoots in and drives through. Gold sprawls well.

Gold changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wilson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Wilson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Gold is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Wilson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Wilson!! Wilson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Gold throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

After winning the bout, Danny Gold thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
