Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Gregorovitsj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jamison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gregorovitsj might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pink Panther Theme. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boris Gregorovitsj!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Jamison!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregorovitsj avoids the body shot from Jamison.
Jamison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jamison buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gregorovitsj throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jamison bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jamison cracks Gregorovitsj with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jamison is trying to get an arm triangle but Gregorovitsj is defending well.
Gregorovitsj is looking to reverse the position.
Gregorovitsj regains half guard, as Jamison was trying to land strikes.
Gregorovitsj tries to get to full guard but Jamison has control of the leg.

Jamison is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gregorovitsj's coaches at THC playhouse have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Gregorovitsj makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gregorovitsj.
Jamison wants to control from the top but Gregorovitsj keeps moving.

Jamison sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gregorovitsj's guard.

Gregorovitsj has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jamison is working away from the top position though.
Jamison trying to mount his opponent but Gregorovitsj defends it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jamison moves forwards but Gregorovitsj connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Boris Gregorovitsj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Jamison is predictable there
and Gregorovitsj counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gregorovitsj misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gregorovitsj lands a nice hook to Jamison's body. Jamison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Jamison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gregorovitsj looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jamison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jamison lands an elbow.

Jamison is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gregorovitsj has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gregorovitsj tries to improve position but can't.
Jamison creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gregorovitsj sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Gregorovitsj tries to buck Jamison off but Jamison is having none of it.
Jamison lands a decent elbow from side control.

Gregorovitsj is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gregorovitsj is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gregorovitsj got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jamison has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gregorovitsj has managed to get both his arms back between Jamison's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jamison is not content to let Gregorovitsj control the position.
Gregorovitsj is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jamison is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gregorovitsj avoids the attempt from Jamison to control.
Jamison working to try and regain half guard.
Gregorovitsj tries to control but Jamison wriggling away.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Jamison is desperately trying to improve his position but Gregorovitsj has a good base and remains in mount.
Gregorovitsj sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Jamison can't escape the position.
Gregorovitsj wants to control the pace but Jamison is squirming around nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

John Jamison comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jamison has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
