The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salvador moves to clinch but Ishii breaks away
and Ishii counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ishii avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ishii controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ishii seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salvador for as long as he can get away with.
Salvador controls Ishii momentarily but Ishii frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salvador avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ishii lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ishii works over Salvador with some ground and pound from guard.

Ishii throws a big elbow that misses.
Salvador is trying to control the position but Ishii postures up.
Ishii postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Ishii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Salvador is keeping the position for now.
Ishii is working Salvador over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ishii pushes down on Salvador's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ishii not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ishii is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Salvador is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
